    Photo Gallery: Drew Tofin and his big band live at Louis’

    Drew Tofin, Saskatoon’s 22-year-old jazz crooner, put on a spirited performance at Louis’ Pub on the U of S campus last Friday, November 15. It was the first time Tofin had hit the stage with a full big band and Louis’ was overflowing with high-energy fans and supporters. These are photos from Saturday’s concert.

    Winnipeg jazz fixture Ron Paley played a classically jazzy solo piano performance on Saturday, May 11th at the Bassment club in Saskatoon. This is a mini gallery of photos from his show. Paley has notched his belt touring with the Buddy Rich and Woody Herman bands, and has been playing, arranging, and composing jazz and big band music for forty years.
